About Us
Location
MaineWeather.org is located in North Berwick, Maine. Approximately 530
feet in elevation it is on the side of Bauneg Beg Mountain. The station
equipment is a Davis Vantage Pro utilizing Weather Link Software. The sensors
are rooftop. North Berwick Maine is located in York County the Southern most
County of Maine.
Station Information
MaineWeather.org is part of the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP.)
CWOP is a private-public partnership which collects weather data
contributed by citizens. The gathered information is made public
to various weather services along with homeland security. It also,
provides feedback to the data contributors. This insures their ability
to improve data quality.
The yearly rain accumulation is set for May 1st. Snowfall can show inaccuracies in total rain fall amount. I am trying to fix this problem as it occurs.

Goal
The goal of this site is to promote personal weather stations
located in the State of Maine. As time permits we will expand
more regionally. If you see anything on this site which needs
